These awards recognise the hard work, dedication and excellence in the Visual Arts.

The principal’s award

The Principal’s Art & Design Award is awarded to a student, whose work is personally selected by our school principal. The award is in recognition of a student’s dedication to Art & Design in their final year of schooling. The work will demonstrate exceptional skills, conceptual qualities and will be student directed.

for her oil painting title ‘Flora’ completed during her IB Visual Arts Course

RANDAL MARSH AWARD

The Randal Marsh Art & Design Awards were initiated with the support of Randal in 2005 to annually recognise Ivanhoe Grammar School students’ creative achievements at both The Ridgeway and Plenty Campus’.

for his work completed in Visual Communication Design

2nd Place (joint winner)

Abbey Martin

for her work based around the theme of mother and daughter, completed during her Art Making and Exhibiting course

2nd Place (joint winner)

Sebastian Berryman

for his work titled Aibrubus completed during his Art Making and Exhibiting course

 

Acquisition award

Kate Farrugia

for Akido garments that depicted the theme of Growth and Decay undertaken in Art Making and Exhibiting


Centenary Product
Design Technology Award

A perpetual award established in 2016 for a senior student whose work has demonstrated an outstanding example in Product Design and Technology.

OIGA Media Award

The Year 12 Old Ivanhoe Grammarians Media prize is to be awarded to an outstanding Year 12 Media work. The key criteria for this award include a high level of innovation and technical competence.
