Monochromatic Monsters

Year one students explored the bright vibrant work of Janet Skates a mixed-media, abstract and figurative artist. The students learnt the meaning of monochromatic and how to tint colour to create a lighter hue. They explored different mediums including clay and wool roving to create their monster features.
