Music Video – Phoebe Bridgers

I Know the End is a music video set to Phoebe Bridgers’ song, exploring the emotions that come with the end of a relationship. It tells a non-linear story of two people who drift apart, look back, and eventually reconnect. Inspired by La La Land (2016) and We Live in Time (2024), the film contrasts love and loss, realism and idealism. I used shifts in colour, lighting, and texture to show the difference between memory and the present — warm tones for nostalgia and darker tones for distance. Hand-drawn “invisible string” animations link the couple, showing their ongoing bond. Through familiar visuals and settings, I wanted audiences to reflect on love, heartbreak, and human connection.
