Dossier is a psychological horror short film in the analogue horror genre using a found-footage format. The 6–9-minute piece is presented as a fragmented case file, combining camcorder footage, distorted 911 calls, 3D animation, text overlays, and still images to evoke an eerie early-2000s atmosphere. My work explores guilt, psychological torment, and the inescapability of one’s past, with fragmented media symbolising unreliable memory and perception. Through dark, expressive lighting, VHS-style visuals, and distorted audio, I aimed to blur the line between fiction and reality. Using Premiere Pro, Blender, After Effects, AI voice tools, and phone filters, I showed how simple digital and practical techniques can create a raw, cinematic sense of unease and authenticity.
