Meditation & Prayer Pod at Metropolitan Spaces

Unit 3 and 4 Visual Communication Design
SAT Folio and Final Presentations

Client Insight:
My client, Daniel Rao, recognises the growing need for spaces that encourage peace, reflection, and spiritual connection within busy metropolitan areas. His vision is to create a sanctuary where people of all faiths can pause, meditate, or pray amidst the rush of daily life.

Communication Need 1:
The client requires a multi-faith meditation and prayer pod that provides a tranquil and inclusive environment for spiritual and mental wellbeing. The design uses sustainable materials, neutral tones, and soft lighting to evoke calmness while respecting all faiths. It must seamlessly blend into locations such as train stations and shopping centres.

Communication Need 2:
The client also requires a companion app that supports accessibility and connection. The app allows users to find nearby pods, check availability, and access multi-language features. It’s simple layout, calming colours, and inclusive visuals ensure ease of use for all ages, promoting connection and spiritual wellbeing across diverse communities.
