Kolpos – Fine Dining Restaurant, Mount Martha

My client, Luca Jensen, is a 37-year-old Danish Australian chef establishing Kolpos, a fine dining restaurant located along the coastline of Mount Martha. Inspired by his Mediterranean heritage and Michelin-trained background, Luca aims to create a dining experience that blends refined luxury with coastal tranquillity. The restaurant’s design responds to the natural forms and textures of the Mornington Peninsula, creating a seamless dialogue between architecture, landscape, and ocean.

 

Communication Need 1: The client requires a concept design for a restaurant that captures the essence of its seaside location, featuring indoor and outdoor dining areas, staff facilities, and spaces that highlight the surrounding views and natural environment.

Communication Need 2: The client requires a cohesive visual identity for Kolpos, including a logo, typeface and colour palette inspired by the coastal landscape. The branding will be applied across menus, signage, packaging, and digital platforms to convey sophistication and a strong sense of place.
